Born and raised in Minnesota,  Todd has been an active participant in the arts his whole life.  His background consists of music, theater, dance and modeling with a degree in Communications.  He was an instructor/choreographer in Hawaiian Studies and Hula for over 18 years in Minneapolis. Establishing TJB Productions in 2010, Todd's mission is to help those get started in the entertainment industry or help enhance those skills that people already  have as "not all knowledge is learned in one school".  Todd's mission is all the above and more.  By giving those a platform to perform their art at either a minimum or no cost to the artist. 

Ashta has been in the entertainment industry since she was 9 years old. As a child she studied Ballet and was also involved in competitive dance teams.  As she got older, she became interested in not only dance but theater and vocals. She has also been and educator at a Puerto Rican dance school for 13 years.  Her theatrical accomplishments include being cast in “Warm Dark Dusk as a dancer, and the lead role in the play “Ertha”, ( a play about Ertha Kitt).  She is also a veteran Model in the Twin Cities.  She is looking forward to furthering her career as an actress, model, and choreographer.

Dexter Watson, alias DJ Dex, is a DJ based in Minneapolis, MN. Born in Paseo Boricua area of Chicago, IL and raised in a family of professional singers, musicians, and producers, he was surrounded and exposed to all sorts of music and cultures, and absolutely fell in love with it. Collecting and sharing music went from a hobby - to a passion - to a profession. Along the way he went from mixtapes and mix CDs, to DJing and managing school radio stations, college functions, and parties, growing to larger local radio stations, such as KDWB and KMOJ, and now weddings, events, Afro-Latin festivals and cruises across the USA and internationally.

A very active member of his local community, DJ Dex is a big proponent of helping the music and dancing grow in Minnesota. Though he loves playing in nightclubs and festivals, he also loves playing smaller events and bringing favorite jams and hidden gems to anyone that appreciates music, art, and passion.  If you want to improve your dance for Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Urban Kiz, or Zouk - Dex’s fun, inviting, yet challenging technique focused instruction will get you moving, grooving, reaching the next level of your dance.
